SEO Power Pages is essentially a landing page that has all the rich information about your business such as your address, phone number & hours of operation, similar to a website.
Why does my business need an SEO Power Page?
Similar to why you need to manage your listings on sites such as Google, Bing, Yelp, etc., this landing page creates a new digital touchpoint & will help your business to be even more discoverable in search.
What is the value of an SEO Power Page?
SEO Power Pages are configured to perform in search. We use a number of industry standard techniques such as Schema Tags, Meta Descriptions & overall optimization, so you can compete in search. This may sound complicated but we have you covered. The intent is to help your business perform when a potential customer does a search for a similar business as yours on sites like Google. The hope is that because your page is configured to the best practices of search engines, customers will find you.
How much does it cost?
Currently SEO Power Pages has no additional cost to our existing Local Lock customers.
I have a website, do I really need this?
If you wish to have your SEO Power Page taken down, we can facilitate that; however we do not recommend this. The more sources where your business information lives, with consistently accurate information, the better it is when it comes to being found in all the places where people search in the digital ecosystem. This product is not intended to replace your website, instead, it's intended to drive traffic to your website.
What is Schema?
In simple terms it's a language created by the largest search engines in the world to understand what content is on a webpage. You can use Schema Markup to tell Google what type of business you are in a language it will understand. All SEO Power Pages come fully marked up & you don’t need to worry about any of the technical elements.
How can I update my SEO Power Page?
All the content is controlled through the Local Lock platform, so when you make an update there, it will update your SEO Power Page, as well as Google, Bing, Yelp & the other publishers in our network. Will there be advertising on my page?
Your SEO Power Page does have a custom section where you can feature your own current advertising message, but we will not place advertising on your page from other businesses. Since your SEO Power Page is part of the iHeartMedia directory, you will see the iHeart logo & a Contact Us on the page at the very top and very bottom only.
