What are Apple Business Connect APIs?

On January 11, Apple announced Apple Business Connect and the associated API. Think of Business Connect as Apple’s version of Google Business Profile or Bing Places - this will allow customers to manage their presence on Apple Maps in near real-time and also includes new fields and features like Showcase Social Posting.

What are the key changes?

While iHeart's Local Lock platform has historically had a publisher relationship with Apple, our new integration with Apple Business Connect offers a variety of new features and benefits, including:

- Direct API to sync data to Apple Maps

- New Fields like Cover Photo, Photo Gallery, and Action Links

- Apple Showcase Social Posting (US-Only)
